"We hired Brain Works Global to provide cognitive fitness training for our annual planning meeting. Jill Hewlett, the Trainer, was able to get the entire room excited and involved in the process of using Cognitive Fitness movements to manage stress for everyday life. Reminding us that everyone has stress, it is part of life, and that you can deal with stress effectively by being aware of it, and then implementing tools to help your body deal with it successfully. We now understand why little sips of drinking of water throughout our day are so key in dealing with stress. Since the training, the team, will collectively recommend specific movements prior to a certain stressful situation the staff must engage in. As well, we are reinforcing the training with our Movement Activity Cards. The training further bonded our group together, we are using the tools as a way to help, support and motivate each other. I observed Jill doing her own Cognitive Fitness movements prior to the beginning of the training, she is a very personable trainer, we felt we could relate to her and it is obvious that Jill lives what she teaches." |
